Arriving to Hang En, the Cave of Swallows, we approach the most amazing campsite in the world (probably). Once settled in, we enjoy a dip in the lake at the cave's entrance and have an amazing meal with the team.

The best camp site in the world... definitely. No chance of rain.

In early August 2013, the first tourist group explored the cave on a guided tour at a cost of US$3, 000 each.[11][12]
Permits are required to access the cave and are made available on a
limited basis, with 1000 permits available for the 2019 and 2020 season,
which runs from February to August.[13] After August, heavy rains cause river levels to rise and make the cave largely inaccessible. As of 2017 only Oxalis Adventure Tours have permission to enter the cave for tourism purposes.[14]

Fantastic editing... Well worth the wait! And I'm sure it will get better and better as you get further in.
I'm especially looking forward to seeing the Garden of Edam and the Great Wall of Vietnam.

Any vegetarians in the group/Do they cater for vegetarians? Or would it be omelette every day?

Lily did you read about RULE 13?
MAYO NO it only apply s if I can read it in Chinese!!!
I have just spent my cave money on the house!!!! We spent 6 hours camping in Hanoi Airport during the 2017 season!!!
That will do! Lots of love EVERYONE. David and Lily.

What an experience (not cheap though). There is always a risk of overexploitation when there is money involved, especially in a relatively poor country such as Vietnam. I've read about plans to build a cable car through the cave.

WOW! you guys got spoiled food wise. That all looked amazing and I bet it tasted super good. The ecosystem of the cave I bet is amazing as well. It's a shame you can't just explore, but I understand why. Yellow toilet tents WOW. LOL. The one Expedition guild is way cool and very funny. Why would you want to go 4 days without pooping? ROTFLMAO. JaYoe!
