I would be interested in a tutorial for DJing. What kind of translations effects and similar stuff do you use if you're djing in a club or a festival (like that time at the parookaville)? And what equipment do you prefer or recommend?

Hey Jon I had a question for you, I am not sure if you had already answered it one of your previous vlogs: I was going to start working with a vocalist on a future one of my tracks. How do you go about doing this? Do you always have someone else write the lyrics, is it better to let the singer do this? Is there always a business contract that you are having to sign between them? How does it work on sharing a track if it is between two different youtube collaborators? (do you just post it on each of your pages?) or any other insights that you might have. If this is in a different vlog of yours just let me know. Sorry for the barrage of questions. Thanks dude!

What do the smaller labels offer you when they sign you for a track? And what does the contract say, they have to do?

I know that with an artist recording contract there usually is an advance involved to among others pay for the recording and also pay the artist. Have you ever had a contract for a track that came with an advance? I assume you sign a contract for one or two tracks when those are already finished, so it has already been recorded. Even so, do you think that such a contract should include an advance on royalties? Perhaps for costs already made?

Would love to hear your opinion!

oh yes, smaller lables...i got promised 24/7 access to the label's distributor page to monitor the sales of my track...guess what...bullshit hehe, did not get anything. second...my track appears on spottify and itunes (and i will not know where else) under the name of another artist...did the so called label boss do anything about it, though having written him several mails....guess what..no. additionally, the track is horribly mastered (supposed the label guy did it himself)..i am not even sure if the track was mature enough to be release...might be interesting if it gets chosen in your track submit....anyways, i think i have already accepted that i was totally screwed over and am already psychologically stable again...no threat of suicide anymore hahaha
