I can’t remember the last time I saw a news clip about the struggling American.
It’s weird because they are all around me. People that can’t afford rent, groceries, healthcare.
All across the nation, heating companies have literally DOUBLED their rates this winter.
My retired mother for example, got a $500 dollar heating bill this month she can’t afford on social security. Half of her meds are too expensive and my husband and I pitch in for those, now utilities.

Why are they worried? As doctors, engineers, lawyers and scientists they should be able to secure good paying jobs.

Did they have no clue as to how much basic needs cost here at all? 4 years of watching this situation and i cannot comprehend how you just go to an entirely new country and continent with no money and expect its citizens to take care of you and thousands of other ppl from around the entire world
