It's honestly great, it does what i wanted and gives me that NFS underground 2 like drifting.

It should be mentioned:
These cars are converted to AWD, but its almost like all 4 wheels are on low grips.
The throttle response is much more correct now. Sometimes the car would stall out/change gears out of the torque range when trying to slide, unless you were constantly brake boosting. Now it feels more realistic as hitting the throttle will almost always transfer power to the wheels correctly.
Each car handles differently and i think its awesome that way you can find a car that really fits your drift style.
Any car with available stance in the interaction menu will lose that stance and the abilty to be stanced.
Lastly, and it might be placebo effect, but it feels like the cars handle differently depending if they were fully upgraded before the tuning vs not. Tested this with the FR36 and it felt like the fully upgraded one handled better. Something to test.
And the drift races are insanely fun, and a little addicting. Highly recommend.

you should mention that it actually converts these cars to AWD, and what's even cooler is that the AWD system only kicks in at certain wheel speeds!

As soon as I saw it, I put that on the Drift Tampa. It’s honestly pretty fun to mess around with now. While testing it, I found out that you can do donuts similar/exactly monster trucks do in Monster Jam.

I put it on my AE86 Hatch and it's a lot of fun because it's different. It feels like it's AWD with the way the front end can control it so much. If you go past full lock, you can still bring it back, which is crazy. Edit: Just did my first drift races and they're unbelievably fun, even with randoms

I really hope sooner or later we are able to install the drift tune on any cars 😅 this is better than low grip tires imo

In my opinion the drift tune seems to require a lot more throttle control than low grip tires.

Makes the vehicles all wheel drive as well, and there seems to be a different control mechanic when in first person, having a blast with these cars

it essentially feels as if the tires are constantly spinning out in the rear, regardless of speed or torque, you gotta really feather the throttle if you want any form of stability when you dont want to drift out.

wow i was expecting way more in depth with this!! i feel the community has been wanting to "drift" for ages! Broughy or no one but just a few are doing the best car for the drift races? i think the drift races is the best thing R* has came out with in years actually its my fav of all time! now i think its more rallly racing then drifting cause puttin drift tune on actually makes all cars awd. now there only like 20% to front tires it feels like but im so thankful R* is trying and actually listening to us!! Please do a best car for the Drift races please!! even if you have to go with other peoples opinions or maybe a pole? i feel you would get tons of views cause i feel theres a lot of people out there looking for this content esp with someone with a platform like yours

I absolutely love the new drift tuning honestly. I'm hitting some crazy lines that I wouldn't have been able to on low grips. Still not as good as FiveM drifting but its a start.

I've noticed no matter what car you put it on it makes it AWD. Its really fun to drift in Vinewood now besides traffic

As someone who was playing nothing but CarX drift racing for the last 2 years out of GTA burnout, coming back to this feels hella refreshing knowing that it's fairly close outside of the fact that you can't manage your gears. But I feel right at home and it feels great to me.

Ever since I upgraded, I've been doing nothing but drifting around all the locations I was trying to before in Los Santos.
