Carnivalse - Chilly Gonzales

Here’s a piano cover of one of my favorite piano artists: Chilly Gonzales - Carnivalse, one of the more melancholic pieces of the Solo Piano I album (2004). I think it is interesting that some phrases spread across three measures (instead of the usual four measure phrases), which contributes to the composition feeling strange, but in a good way. It is also a prime example for me of how you can transform a motif many times in a song.
