Yes.. sorry we didn't go more in depth on that. You can adjust deadzones, FFB strength, etc. Very configureable.

It won't show you a Fanatec wheel in game because the Fanatec drivers aren't officially on the 360. But everything works like a charm and FM3 fully supports everything on the 911.

Oh yeah... We had that on for a bit to learn some of the fantasy tracks we didn't know.. The braking line.. I have that off now so I can get 100% of my experience points.. I think if you watch the footage of me driving the Nissan prototype at Nurburg, I had the braking line off. No Aids.. Be happy to prove it to anyone once the game comes out.. :-)

No there isn't a Logitech FFB wheel, but I was saying that they are licensed to make wheels for the 360 when you said they couldn't make 3rd party peripherals for the 360.

They can't make the G25 compatible because the 360 required different drivers (XID) where the instructions are handled on the peripheral themselves. Whereas on the PC and PS3 all the game itself has complete control over the wheel there is another layer of abstraction between the game and the device.

It is actually not that easy. XID is not just a different protocol or driver. It requires complete different hardware and is very difficult to program. In fact our wheel contains almost two separate sets of electronics for PC/PS3 and 360. The effort to do this is huge and I can understand why other companies hesitate to make these efforts.

you can change the field of view in the cockpit by changing the settings in the multi-screen setup. Change the default degrees to 68. now you can see more of the wheel, the side mirror and the rear view mirror.

89 is very high on our scale. We're not going to score it like a PC Gamer or IGN. We are also comparing it to PC simulations. F3 set benchmark scores in our review. Dirt 2 got an 80.5 in the last show and we love that game. Superstars V8 got a 59.. So in comparison, 89 is really good !

I use the regular MS wheel and it works great for FM3. Especially the paddle shifters:)

It is ridiculous. They blocked out anything good we said about GT5 P. Like you said, they're both good titles and have set the bar on the consoles for racing games. They have definitely crossed the line over to sim.

Im sure when we review, we'll say something "wrong" and they'll come out of the wordwork.

The whole set up is about $1500. Vision Racer is $1000, wheel and pedals with shifter is about $400.. Tax and shipping should get you close to $1500
