If Not McCarthy, Who? Three Possible Speaker Alternatives To Kevin McCarthy

A historic stalemate over choosing a new Speaker has left the House GOP divided and the chamber unorganized and in chaos.

Congress will have a very tight-hold on the new Speaker of the House. Americans will not be beholden to a Nancy Pelosi or Mitch McConnell again. And the new Speaker can be “fired” ASAP, also…..

“If”. I think McCarthy has already fallen through. If he even somehow finds a way to get to Speaker he will be too weak and compromised to lead. There are only 2 of the 20 that I’d vote for. 1) Chip Roy and 2) Byron Donalds. Id take either. I might prefer Donalds myself but I think others would not. I like Roy but he gets pretty animated at times and Republicans anymore like herding cats. Donalds i think would be the better leader. Plus in a time to play the card. Byron Donalds would be the first black Speaker. I can think of several reasons to have Donalds as Speaker. On the other side I’d take Steve Scalise. A proven leader. But…. Either way McCarthy is done. Turn him over he’s done!!!! He needs to man up and withdraw from the race.
