Boogies Trains at: Clapham Junction - 14 November, 2024 - Part One

I am a regular visitor here. The objective of this visit is to see some 701s in service. As has been the case for the last three years, the yard is full of them. Full fleet introduction is three years late and counting. There are quite a few out on training runs but I only saw one in public service. I even managed a ride on it.
Lots of other action as usual including many of the 455s that are still soldiering on long past their planned retirement.

Great video Mr Boogie, Clapham Junction is always good for non stop action and continuity. Sad that the introduction 701's has proved so difficult. However are they as comfortable as the 455's 🤔. Anyway well done, can't wait for episode 2. 🤓

Always a good location for an informative video. Disappointed to see that the graffiti vandals had got at one of the 701s.

South Western Railway should allow more Class 701 Arterio to start service and to say farewell to the Class 455. With some Class 701s that are now in service.

The 701s just have a stain in train history. They'll always be known as Britain's failed train. what a disappointment.
