My wife kept saying her ex is a narcissist, so I began to study it up for a long time. In my AA group I did spot some people who act very much like they were described. One guy married a woman, and I knew the marriage wouldn't last a year, it lasted three months as she caught him cheating.

The one I call a psychopath has served seven years in prison. I've known him for approx. 5 years. At first things were fine then I started getting to dislike the guy very much. Last month I became very suspicious of the guy so looked up the sex offenders within 5 miles of my home. There he was and the only crime he was arrested for was child rape, he told me he'd done over 70 home invasions in So California and he goes down there fairly often, he's down there right now. I can only wonder.

It takes some time and experience to identify these people but trust your gut, don't approach them and don't accuse them. Just know what they are and keep your distance. They are very creepy people and are very good con artists. This psyco I know is also very violent.

They lie and their actions are not in sync with what they do. Micro - expressions on the face also tell a lot if the observer is focused and mindful 👩‍🎓

When I was a small boy, I feared when I hear the word 'psychopath'. Now, Me being a 24 year old guy, have found the psychopath nowhere other than in myself.

I believe that I have known four paychoaths. In my life. I dated ine for over ten years. I am actually now, very good at spotting them. Correctly. In fact I watched a YT video where they got a whole group of people together to see who could spot the person who actually did have Antisocial Personality Disorder. I spotted him. Instinctively. But they don't act like "psychotic" people. And they definitely are much harder to spot. They usually appear very calm, likeable and can seem confident. But one way is lack of emotional depth. I had to learn about it because the guy I dated, turned out to be very dangerous and I am lucky I am alive. They can be great to you for years and then turn on someone if it suits them. It's really important that someone who has this disorder, recognize it and get the support they need. Actually, I have known five. I forgot about one other person.

So there’s no way to spot a psychopath other than successful people? I though a lack of empathy, lack of intuition were clear signs not being rich and successful.

would like to know, where to find the best psychological test in order to know oneself (personality, traits)? I mean a really thorough test, and discrete.

most of us has the "asshole face" where we have a slight frown in our neutral faces
at older age we dont have much wrinkles because of our expressionless faces throughout life- where facial expressions repeated many times causes wrinkles
we are always masculine looking
we speak in a monotone voice
we generally seem very disinterested- because we are
we may totally disdain safety of ourselves and others
we may wear worn clothes because we really dont care

and sorry to burst your fantasy we will most likely never plan to kill you, we simply dont care enough. its a lot of work and its not that stimulating

Look for a people, that faking emotions or emotionally blind (they don't know, how the normal reaction should look like in some situations), most likely they are a psychopaths.

Yes it is 1 in 100 - there is a disgruntled commentator. Usually when using the term psychopath they are referring to a primary psychopath as opposed to secondary. It is 1 in 100 and thought by many professionals to be higher. You can catch some interviews with Kent Kiehl or Robert Hare here on YT . One of the tools used in assessing psychopathy is the Hares checklist- in the USA 30 is the point where the psychopath diagnosis might be given. In the UK it’s assessed at 25 . Nonetheless- 1 in 100 is accurate.

Tony Blair. He makes me shudder. Something almost demonic about him.

And they are not necessarily in great power positions either.

No not 1 in 100 people are psychopaths. 1 in 100 people have higher psychopathic traits. But are not psychopaths.

It’s not difficult at all. Get out in the street, switch on the tv or the radio, or have a look online, then take a pick.
