You guys hit the nail on the head. JR was a great storyteller in the ring who always brought you into the action. He made sure that by the time the match and the show was over you were personally invested whether you knew it or not.

We lazy fans should appreciate the tremendous effort it takes Herro to be that wrong that consistently about Punk and Bryan, preferring the steroid freaks.

David I have to respectfully disagree with you.  You say fans hate Cena & Batista cause they are lazy and don't want to put in the work to get as huge as those guys.  Its wrong.  Hogan is huge (both in muscle and star quality) and fans still love them.  Rock & Austin put in the work and fans love them too.  Most people will never be as jacked up as the Rock but they still love and connect to the character.  Maybe fans don't like Cena & Batista simply cause they aren't entertained by them.

Still shocked at some of these releases that came about this week. Really wondering if that's it for now or if there's more coming. Hey Pro Wrestling Report speaking of Brodus Clay we had the opportunity to chat with him immediately after his WWE release. You guys should check it out, good stuff. Still new to Feedback Friday but really loving it! Keep it up!

P.S Wanna hear who David thinks will be released next! Least some hints please!

What is important to wrestlers when it comes to fan connection is their persona, talking ability, and perceived wrestling ability. For some fans being sold a guy is the biggest means he is the best is not enough. I never watched ROH, but many fans like Punk and Bryan because they are ROH legends with a PERCEIVED high level of wrestling ability. I was never a big fan of his wrestling style, but I personally became a fan of Punk because of his talking ability and his work as a heel.

I was surprised you read my comment on your show :) Thank you guys for all that you do. I want to be a part of "suite and sexy" in LA, considering I live about 20 minutes south of Los Angeles, but I just don't have the money. The CM Punk fans are also the Wade Berret and Cesaro fans. Most fans who love small indie wrestlers like DB and Punk love bigger sized wrestlers like Cesaro, Berret, and Wyatt too, so it couldn't have anything to do with what Hero said.

I'm surprised you didn't mention JTG's release as he was in the roster for a long time as well. While not relevant in years, it was kind of amazing he lasted as long as he did. With his release, the longest game of hide and seek is over

#PWRTV #FeedbackFriday David Herro. You constantly bring up the size when it comes to Bryan and Punk (Mr. Brooks).  The reason fans are hating on Cena so much isn't because he's a jacked up guy we can't relate to. It's because his character hasn't changed since 2006.  We love Bryan and Punk because they can perform tremendous in the ring and play different characters.

#feedbackfriday In regards to the ten talents recently released, quite clearly you can see why in most cases.

The list:
JTG
Aksana
Drew McIntyre
Jinder Mahal
Evan Bourne
Brodus Clay
Curt Hawkins
Yoshi Tatsu
Camacho
Teddy Long

With Teddy being the only exception because he is not a wrestler and his long career in the business, the others named either didn't have a compelling character or storyline. Evan Bourne was plagued with injury which sidelined an otherwise good, strong start however, even he was one of many high flyers. I can see Evan, Drew, Jinder and even Teddy Long as good fits in TNA or ROH. Teddy would be awesome in an executive character position on Impact. Brodus and Yoshi will go to NJPW. Aksana might fit as a knockout and the rest will need return to the independents.

Even thought David Herro wouldn't say who could be next I pretty much narrowed it down to my ten

Hipsters?!! what??? David could not be anymore wrong about a CM Punk fan. Do you know why people love CM Punk? Its because he reminds us of what wrestling entertainment used to be. He is the modern day rebel, the rise against the machine guy hell you could even say he's the current stone cold. Fans know he doesn't play nice with suits upstairs and we respect him for it. He's the gladiator of the arena that even if he decides not to cut the guys head off the people still chant his name. The proof is shown in every arena when you hear his name. #Pipebomb
