Break Dancing Gorilla at the Calgary Zoo

Zola, nine-years old, is one of eight Western lowland gorillas currently living at the Calgary Zoo as part of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Gorilla Species Survival Plan. He loves to play in water and keepers regularly give him the opportunity to do so as part of the enrichment activities they plan and vary on a daily basis.

This gorilla must have the sanity of a king. Imagine been stuck in that cell all your life and rain water coming through the ceiling onto the floor is your only pleasure. He has a strong spirit ❤

@TheChancersArt Actually, i live in Calgary and go to the zoo often, it is an amazing zoo and the animals are well looked after. The cage shown in the video is not the main habitat, it is the zookeepers area where the animals are cared for. The main area is rather large, with trees, swings, ropes and other enrichment toys. They also have a large outdoor enclosure that is opened on nice days and all through the summer.
