Judge Dread has the honour of having more songs banned by the BBC than any other artist. In the 1970’s, as far as Reggae was concerned the only artist to outsell Dread was Bob Marley and Dread was also the first white recording artist to have a Reggae hit in Jamaica. This ditty managed to get to number 49 in the UK charts as the flip side of the single ‘Up With The Cock’.
