Timeless, many lost moments I can remember when I hear this song.

There are several versions of this out there, but this version takes me back to 1971 and my girlfriend of that moment in time, frozen. I can smell her, feel her, hear her, the dew on the gears around us, and everything the song describes.
I heard this again in 2021 and I looked her up, being a widower for 10 years. Sadly she passed in 2020; we parted on the best of terms, and I regret not having searched for her sooner.

Folk mention David and Jonathans version, they are Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway who wrote it.They wrote many songs that were recorded by and became massive hits for many well known artistes, If you look at the list it is surprising what they did write. They also recorded other songs themselves.
