When I hear this I think of a coach I had when I was young. Her name was Crystal, she was tall and slender and very feminine, but she was tough as fuck. She was my figure skating coach so she was usually bundled up (if you're not actively skating an ice rink gets very cold), but when we did off-ice exercises she'd take off all those coats and you'd see how muscular she was, especially her shoulders. If she weren't so against people videotaping her skating, I would have several videos of that on my channel someplace because of how gorgeous yet powerful she was.

Anyway the reason I think of her is because this song symbolizes "graceful yet powerful" very well. It's about being pretty and feminine AND DON'T-MESS-WITH-ME-OR-ELSE STRONG TOO. It doesn't pretend that to be tough a woman must act like a man, because that simply isn't the case. A woman can be beautiful and graceful and fuss over her nails and shit but still be intimidating as fuck. I learned that pretty viscerally from Crystal. This song points it out pretty well too.
