In this latest instalment of UX portfolio reviews, I'll walk through the latest viewer submission which covers junior designer's from Norway portfolio and case study. While his work is truly well presented and the visual skills are impressive, there are a few bits that could make the UX case study stand out even further.

I actually thought Rachid is already qualified as a mid level UX designer. Maybe my bar is set too low. For me, junior UX people are more like new graduates straight out of D school or maybe 1-2 years of work experiences. My company turned a bunch of new D school graduate into junior UX designers(level 1) after the internship last summer. They know how to use Sketch/InVision/Figma, actually quite good at those "hard skills". The rest of the stuff need a lot of development. That stuff(real world experience) takes time to acquire. Hence, junior.

I just finished my UX Design course, I don't have much projects to add in my portfolio, only those from the course. I skipped the first 2 projects- online survey and competitive benchmark, can I still build my portfolio with the projects I did or it would look bad if I don't have more research projects?
