Save Yourself - (Kolby Koloff) Miraculous Ladybug (Love Square) Amv
Показать описание
Do you ever feel like you have to save yourself? Like you have to be the one holding everything together and making sure your heart doesn’t break?
If so, I'm so sorry you've felt/feel that way. I know it's really hard, to the point where it feels like you’re drowning and all alone.
But you don’t have to worry. You don’t have to try so hard. 💜Jesus is the air, the hope, the life, the peace, and no matter what storm you’re in he will save you if you call out to him.
I hope this doesn't offend anyone, and I know not everyone believes in Jesus, but I have experienced first-hand how amazing and comforting his love and power is, and I want to share this gift and truth with you, even if it's just a little whisper through the story of my favorite show.
No one is perfect, we are all sinners, we all do bad things, and that sin separates us from God who is holy and good. But he loves us so much that Jesus died on the cross and sacrificed himself in our place, so that we could be forgiven and have a restored relationship with God. God brought Jesus back to life, and now he promises to save anyone who puts their trust in him. He welcomes you into his family and his care. Imagine how powerful the God of the universe must be. That same God is watching over you, loves you and knows you personally. Don’t you want that God on your side? To rescue you from your sin, from the darkness inside yourself, and give you a new hope and life and joy in him?
I am so thankful to be a Christian, but just because you believe in Jesus and he’s there for you, doesn’t mean you won’t face any problems or feel any of life’s struggles, because this world is a very messed up broken place, but there is a future perfect one to look forward to, and Jesus will be a loyal partner and comforting friend through every struggle we have until then.
Sometimes it really hurts, and all you can do is cry and let him carry you. Cling to him when everything else is falling apart. Trust in his promises, rest in his love, and know that one day everything will be made right.
I thought this song kind of went well with my “Keep Fighting” video and it’s kind of where my mind has been at lately.
I have been in a really dark mental state, just a lot of things weighing on me, to the point where I wished I could escape everything because it hurt too much and it felt like there was no hope for the future. But there is, and it’s worth fighting for.
Yet while it’s good and necessary to fight - you don’t have to do it alone.
You don’t have to be the one holding your head above the water, you don’t have to face the storm on your own.
I’m definitely the kind of person who feels like they have to do it all on their own. I feel a lot of responsibility and often take on some that isn’t mine to bear.
I also don’t want to “burden” other people so I try to keep it all locked away and bury my struggles and feelings deep inside myself. But even if I can hide my pain from others, I can’t hide it from God.
He cares and wants us to give our burdens to him.
You can fight, and you have to, since evil and negativity are always trying to creep their way into your heart and sow seeds of darkness in your mind, but sometimes the best way to fight is to call out for help. Even the best armies need reinforcements from time to time, and how much more for one lonely person trying to take on the world?
We all suffer. We all need help. And Jesus can be that help for you. He can rescue you. Not just from your sins and eternal destruction, but also from your worries and your fears.
I have been so consumed with fear and worry. And I’m a very positive person so…no matter how hard we try to ignore it, out-think it, rebuke it, fear and worry comes for us all. (Just like death…which is often what spurs fear and worry) Trust is hard to do. Trust is surrendering yourself and having confidence in someone or something else no matter what unknowns you face.
Many times our trust is broken and yet we are all trusting in something to save us.
What are you trusting in for your future? Your parents? Good grades? Your skills? Your religious habits? Yourself? A person?
All those things are good, but they won’t truly save you in the end. God wants us to trust him, to put our faith in him - so that when hard times come we can look to a greater power, someone stronger than ourselves to save us. Someone to hold on to when everything else fails. He loves you, so so much, and when you choose to let go, to stop trying to control everything and worrying about things we can’t change, you can find real peace and real freedom even in the midst of any storm. He sees more than we do, he knows more than we do, and if you put your trust in him, he will never leave you.
I love you all and hope you know that it’s okay to not be strong. It’s okay to need help. If you feel like you’re all alone, it's good to reach out to others, and just know - God is there. You don’t have to save yourself.
