"The Lord told me to do it" sounds like hearsay. He needs to get the Lord on the stand swearing under oath to himself that he did in fact issue that instruction, otherwise the scammer has nothing.

I live in Colorado... I was over at a friend's house helping him with some computer stuff. I saw 'ANY DESK' on his desktop and asked him why he had that program and he said that someone was teaching him about CRYPTO CURRENCY.
