One of my favorite Phil songs. I've been listening to this and Take Me Home on my headset going for walks in the evening watching the sunsets. It's a good way to feed the soul and social distance ;) As always great vocals and I really like the sound of the Yamaha bass. Even the cheaper Yamaha guitars and basses I've played sound really good.

This rendition highlights just how much Phil (and the other Brits) had deeply immersed himself in soulful Black music. The bluesiness and black gospelness shines through from the core of his voice; Hall and Oates and others as well. Here that essential element seems lost or maybe it was never soaked up.
