Hey Tim just thought to point out:
You can't have
--- --- at the end because it would be posting nothing since you cleared it --- controller.clear(); --- before posting.

Is there really a need for the local variable, since the if statement is able to detect if the global variable exists?

all the "<Post>" line error :
The name 'Post' isn't a type, so it can't be used as a type argument.
Try correcting the name to an existing type, or defining a type named 'Post'

You need to deal with safe area for iOS devices, otherwise the TextInputField is on the very bottom, partially hidden by the bottom bar of the iPhone (X and above).
