Would love one of these to try and post on new channel, I have been a machinist for almost 20 years, lathes, welding, drill presses, milling machines, and all other types of sheet metal work and all metal fabrication. I ran a full size cnc for a little while for a unnamed company. Here. Of late been really wanting to get my metal working abilities out to the public. Where are you guys located?

You better make a chip filter / guard for that hobby grade outrunner brush less motor or your going to short out the windings when it sucks up conductive chips.

Would this work well with carbon fiber also? It leaves a powder type dust wondering I'd that will be an issue

Do you guys have a version that can do stainless steel if so how much? Also if I design my parts in metric will they’ve an issue? Do you guys have metric tools?

Could that machine mill to steel bar and plate?

Have you milled any steel with it at reduced feed rates? or is it simply not rigid enough? Cool little machine. Do you also supply them with a European power supply?

I like your first mill and if this is the same quality product then it would be a great little machine for the less experienced and professional alike. My 5'x10' 4 axis machine has a ISO30 tool changer and a lowly 24k spindle so I am close to your new product and will have to settle for what I have on hand. Sorry 😞 looks like a great product though! Aluminum is fun! Better than 3D printing any day of the week.

Isn't that guy the one who sold out on open source 3D printing when 3D printing started?

I am 3d printing a part. YAWN YAWN YAWN YAWN. Thats how I feel after having waited 8 hours for it and the printer is still going. Ridiculous amount of time. Could not make 3d printed parts be some of my customers end product. Just takes too long. This however is where I want to be. Milling steel. Making moulds and filling them with hot aluminium.

If you can afford this, save a bit more for a tormach 440. Ask a local machinist if you doubt.

I was really interested until I saw Bre Pettis is the owner. Nope.
