Meet DISCOVER-US

Launched on 1 January 2024, the Horizon Europe DISCOVER-US project is a 30-month project set to energize EU-US collaborative research around the computing continuum, distributed computing, and swarm intelligence. In this introductory webinar held on 29 February 2024, project coordinator Koen De Bosschere (Ghent University) explains why (and how) researchers in these fields should get involved in the project. Marc Duranton (CEA) explains the foundations for the DISCOVER-US vision of future distributed computing and swarm intelligence, while Tullio Vardanega (University of Padua) sets out the Big Research Questions to be explored in the project.
