Make It - Adjustable Router Fence

I made a quick router fence a few years ago and since that day, building a better one was on my to-do list.

This one is made from Baltic Birch plywood and features adjustable front plates, dust collection and a T-Track so I can use the sliding flip stop from my table saw fence for repeatable cuts. The whole thing is made to be very lightweight with a small footprint for easy storage. It gets clamped to my table saw fence since my router table is built into my saw, but it is versatile enough to work on any fence or be modified for other applications (t-track tables etc.)

Plans are available on my website!

I'm very glad you invested in a Sawstop with the way you use a table saw 😅

Dustin, Your design is the best I have seen! Quick, simple, easy to build, and does a great job at doing it's job. Thanks for sharing. One of the best changes I made to my shop was mounting the router in the table saw. This fence will enhance my router set up and make it complete.

Love the simplicity of the design. And the great sound track. Thanks Justin!

I love your videos. It’s probably the ingenious ideas, but I’m not positive that it’s not the music. Classic!

Since the fence sides are separate, you could shim the outfield fence 1/32" or so and create an edge jointer.

Noticed the stop block flexing every time you butted up against it. So if you make stop blocks as well as you make router fences, I'd say that's a good next video. Well done.

My man making me nervous cutting those grooves on the table saw with his finger directly over the blade

It is not possible to give 100 thumbs up at but I think this fence deserves 100 thumbs up.

I am watching this very high. I don't know why I felt you was mad at me, then I realised it was just a YouTube video and actually you are pretty grateful I am watching this because you thanked me at the end, you told me I am a badass and I felt great. thank you

Holy cow. I love using YouTube mostly just in finding craftsman using their skills. Most I find do very nice work and most importantly have passion in what they do. You have these same qualities, but none of them had me laughing like the end of your video did. Thank you for sharing your skills as a craftsman, creator, director, and all your other skills that brought this together

I just built this based on your design! It was so easy and yet it is the best fence I've had!!

Just finished mine! Didn’t even think about it until after I was playing around with it, but the open spaces actually act as a great storage for your wrench!

I made a fence for my router table and a friend of mine that sets up moulders told me I should have set my fence after the router out a 1/16 to 1/8" out further than the 1st half or before the router to prevent chatter and have a smoother look. It works great that way.
