The thing is, Ultraviolet Lantern can be powered by all of other emotions in spectrum as long as they are suppressed. It means regardless of what emotion you suppress as long as you are emotionally capable sentient being, you can definitely amped Ultraviolet Lantern. It was kinda an anti-thesis to the whole spectrum but since suppression is still an emotion we just repressed, it still part of the spectrum just manifesting those what we won't recognize hence 99% of human can be transformed into Ultraviolet Lantern because Humans are the susceptible or subjected to it.

Customer service work and foodservice work include repressing emotions as PART OF THE JOB. And they are far and above the most common *kind* of job. The emotions apparently don't even have to be that strong, damn, that's a legitimately terrifying well written force.
