My first love ever was hockey and the New York rangers. I grew up obsessed and watched every game. As I got older and life happened and living in New York City - I was always a fan - but disconnected and missed games and whole seasons. This past January, at only 45 years old, I had a stroke and was half paralyzed. I watched every game this year and it inspired me to push myself harder with physical therapy. After many painful months, I can proudly say I’m one of the 10 % of people who fully recover. I helped my friend land a gig producing Sean averys podcast and got inspired. Big time. Special season. No quit.

There was only one team in the league inside the bolts heads before the playoffs even started because of how they were beaten during the regular season. Now it’s two fold. Tampa will have a much better game next go around but it appears Vaseline-skee is shook. He saw just about every one of those shots that beat him. Let Tampa bring on the chippiness because it always seems to bolster the Rangers will. Rangers in 5. Tampa will rebound with a two time defending champion performance in game 2. These guys swept the Panthers.. Just wait until their power play gets going.

You're absolutely correct about Game 2 not being easy. However, I think solving Vasilevskiy this early in the series is huge. Had this been a close 1-0, 2-1 type game where Vasy frustrated the Rangers, that could weigh heavy throughout the series. Now, the boys can go out and play loose and not get lured into looking for the perfect play. They know they can beat this goalie and this team. It won't be easy, it never is this time of year, but they have all the confidence in the world.

I think that Tampa plays a much more open game compared to Carolina. I think Panarin is going to breakout in this series. He has so much more room to make his seam passes.
