Imagine being the evil ruler of a human kingdom trying to wipe out the benevolent demons from the world so you summon a hero from another world to help with your cause. But after he spends some time with the demons and realizes they’re not as bad as he believed them to be, he begins to advocate peace between humans and demons, so you secretly have him killed and have his soul sent back to his original world. Later, you approve of a larger summoning to summon a large group of heroes to wipe out the demons only to accidentally summon the original hero as well as part of the group.

This is actually... kind of a neat concept. Also lets you skip a lot of the standard isekai set-up because, well... the guy's already done the basic song-and-dance before, he's got a handle on it.

I've always wanted to try writing one of these other world stories. Like what if the hero comes back from the other world, but he's done such a good job that other fantasy worlds keep trying to nab him. His only focus becomes using their various magic systems to escape them as efficiently as possible so he can go about living normally. I'd call it "The Hero Comes Highly Recommended"

Oh… after hearing the title I thought this was going to be the story of a guy who for summoned to a new world, defeated the things that needed to be defeated, did all the things and returned to their normal life only to be summoned again and be jaded going through the motions.
