Hanoi Rocks song from album Bangkok Shocks,Saigon Shakes,Hanoi Rocks
Lyrics:don't you ever leave me baby, don't you ever leave me now
don't you ever leave me baby, if you leave me you will kill me now
the lights are slowly going down, out on Times Avenue
and me, i'm all alone, watching the rain falling down on my face
a crowd of people passing by, i don't think they recognize me
they fade away into the night, thats when i think about you
don't you ever leave me baby, don't you ever leave me now
don't you ever leave me baby, if you leave me you will kill me now
i start living in the memory of you, i start living in the memory of you
i start living in the memory of you , and the memory of all them things
that you and me used to do, yeah, and there's one more thing i wanna tell you
i wanna tell you how much i really love you, and i really do
the lights are slowly going down, out on Times Avenue
and me, i'm all alone, watching the tears falling down on my face
a subway train is passing by, driving into the night
i jump inside cause i ain't got nowhere to sleep, that's when i think about you
don't you ever leave me baby, don't you ever leave me now
don't you ever leave me baby, if you leave me you will kill me now
i start living in the memory of you, i start living in the memory of you, i start living in the memory of you
and all them funny things, that you and me used to do
you remember, you remember all them things, that you and me used to do
don't forget, don't bloody never forget, don't you ever leave me baby
don't you ever leave me now, don't you ever leave me baby
if you leave me you will kill me now
i start living in the memory of you, i start living in the memory of you, i start living in the memory of you
and the sweet taste of your lips, and the sweet taste of your body
and the sweet taste of the lips between your legs

This was actually the album version for their first release. I scored a copy at Amoeba almost ten years ago. I have the HR logo tatted on my arm too. Also, he may be old but Michael Monroe still has it, he killed it at the whisky when I saw him last.

this is the version I've always listened to, i don't like the other versions as much, this is their best studio record in my opinion, i love playing my old vinyl records...

Second recording is just perfect! This is way to fast! Find it on ”two steps from the move” ”Don’t you ever leave me”🌸❤️

Sorry if I sound harsh. I had mutal friends with people who were badly hurt in the crash that killed Razzle. Haven't spoken to them in decades, but their lives were ruined with permanent damage and pain. I had tickets to see HR the next week and never got to see them. Took 25 years to finally see Micheal Monroe! VN blows off Raz's death in every interveiw I have ever seen. An eye for an eye is the way I feel towards him...He took an amazing band from all of us...

Gyp Casino, the original drummer is on this recording from the 1st album. And that's Andy McCoy doing the second vocal. Razzle didn't technically record with Hanoi until "Back To Mystery City". Everything up until that point is Gyp Casino on drums. Great pics! Long live Razzle...Hanoi forever!

I like this version much better. Sure the new version is technically better. But this uptempo version is much cooler. Especially the 'I Start living in a memory of you' part I like

Hanoi WAS the biggest influence on MC. They were world famous long before MC started, by no less than 4 years. HR was in every import magazine (Sounds, Hot Press, NME, etc) and the LA scene was heavily into them. They were pretty much the band that tipped GNR into the direction they took. MC had seen them in Britan by the time that HR got to play the USA. It is 100% Vince's fault for killing Razzle, and HR. HE was the DRIVER. The bum only got 300 hours of community service and a fine!

this is much better than dont you ever leave me, imho... I never understood why they had to rewrite it. I love this song.

the hardcore superstar cover of the '84 version is pretty awesome tho.
