I still have and use my original Magic Air. 7 years old and love it. Nothing has replaced the build and size. It still sits in its own league.

This video alone may have sold me on getting an Air now vs. waiting on the Mavic Pro II. Nice work.

The DJI Air seems to be situated where the axis of art and science of drone making has found a sweet spot for almost everyone. You do want to turn off DJI update if you're shooting on a professional schedule. I really am proud of the hand gesture control, and it's utility on the Mavic Air, a 3 axis gymbal, and stable as a Phantom Pro 4. Best review yet, way better than any other review out there. Covers everything, good and bad. Mostly good.

Nice vid man! Couple of You can set the function button on the controller so that it can be held and the wheel can then be used to change the exposure then :) also the memory card is much easier to rove if you push it in first, it's spring loaded! Thanks for a cool vid

I agree with others. Your vibe and professionalism is off the chart. Love your lighting, style. Really chilled me out while travelling into the centre of London on a wet miserable day. Look forward to seeing more. Would love to see your film editing tutorials 😎

If your having a problem getting out the memory cards....your not the only one but try a penny or I use a very small phillips head that shipped with my Hubsan X4 Storm. This thing is just a phenom overall though and in sport mode, I beleive compared to other DJI products, it's an animal. I'm going to try and an take it by some guys that I met that have a Phantom 3 and work by the water. The Mavic Air is like having all capability of a camera drone that turns into a really fun to fly race type drone. I bought the X4 Storm first and would of skipped it if I knew what this thing is like in sport. THE KNEEEZZZZ for sure. Well worth the $$

We can take the camera from the DJI Mavic 2 zoom and interchange it with the Professional and vica versa.
I would like to see DJI or someone come out with a "SHOE" which you can exchange cameras.
It would retro-fit to the drone so when you switch cameras it would mate up with the connectors on the ribbon cable and lock each camera into place.
Now that would be a big + for DJI.

Awesome in-depth review 👍. Question, I've been trying to find information, but couldn't really find anything, about flying the drone with the remote only (in other words, controlling the drone with the remote as supposed to the phone) and also without needing the app. Reason for the question is that recently the dji go 4 and other dji apps stopped working for androids. Although I found a fix for it a couple of weeks ago, which was easy, Android put out another update and it stopped working again. Proceeded with same steps to fix but it does not work. I downloaded the djy fly app, and even though I haven't tested it, it downloaded just fine (hopeful it works). But that put a damper on not being able to fly for a couple of weeks. So I thought, there must be a way you can fly the drone by controlling it with the controller and attaching some sort of monitor to the controller (for viewing purposes) and recording your footage. Great explanation, btw, about the rage of the remote (which also brings another question, would you get the same or similar interference if you were flying with the app/phone as you do with the remote?) Sorry for all the questions and thank you again
