At least the Blue Crew took two out of three against the resilient A's. It's a little sad that they won't be staying in Oakland next season and I've been to the Coliseum for a couple of Dodger games. LET'S GO DODGERS!

1st series lost in awhile. The CF miss in 1st inning was a killer. A's staying close to the highest payroll around.

Dodgers beat the A's, but they are. still in trouble with too many injured players.

Convincing series win for the Dodgers, thanks to some much-needed 'small ball' being played for a welcome change. Bullpen stepped up and got Ryan off the hook this time, with Phillips' strikeout of Rooker in that 5th being the key moment in the game for me. Shame to see the Oakland Coliseum on the verge of being a forgotten memory after this season. Just goes to show what an increasingly undesirable market the Bay Area has become for pro sports in general. Oh well, that's their problem to deal with. In the meantime, glad to see the Dodgers salvaging this road trip and coming home for Round 2 against NL-leading Philly.
