This is one of my favorite songs of all time and back in 2004 or 2005 I was working in the international conference centre in the Hague, the Netherlands. One evening Jackson Browne was performing there and he joined up with a local Eagles tribute band. For a whole afternoon they were rehearsing this song. So for one wonderful afternoon, I had Jackson Browne singing my favorite song for me live while I worked just down the corridor.

I was sitting at a fundraiser at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood and then guess who came in and sat down at the table next to me? Jackson Browne not 3’ from me. I also met Ed Beagle Jr. and Ed Asner that night.

Just saw him live in Mobile, AL on 7/25/23. He put on an amazing show and played from 7:30-10:45 with only a 15 min intermission.
