When Elena told Damon that she doesn't think she will be the key to stefans humanity but that Damon is and said "I think your gonna be the one that saves him from himself" i always pictured the moments that Damon saved Stefan like this because i know that deep down Stefan knows Damon will always he there for him, with or without humanity, they both knew that their brother will be there through it all. Elena, Bonnie, Caroline, Liz, etc. they all had their limits of how much cruel, bad, evil, horrible shit they could endure from the Salvatore brothers but Stefan and Damon could literally murk each others rebounds, stake each other in the gut, kill each others best friends, steal each others gfs and even kill their parents but they never would let each other die

"where's my brother"that sentence made me smile because he actually showed he cared for him but didn't want to show him at all, I love and miss how sarcastic he always was and it made me laugh but when he cried for the first time in ever and my heart shattered especially when he lost Stefan 💔😭 me crying all the time seeing that scene
