I bow down to your skills of teaching. You're approach is just PERFECT!!! Most teachers only give the theory, not giving examples, or the examples are given with too much rush, and students don't have time to understand. Plus, you make it simple for both people that learn things logically, as well as for those that learn better by memorizing. And the most important aspect is: You do TONS of EXAMPLES! Examples are one of the most important part in the process of learning. So, thank you very much!

it depends on the types of functions you have as to where u look. my functions are all continuous on the given domains, so they only problem is potentially at where the functions switch, which is at x = -1 and x = 1, so that is where you look!
