I heard this song when it first released and loved it. After finding out my wife was pregnant with my daughter I heard it on xm radio, and before they played it, there was a small interview about this song and he said the inspiration came from him, or a buddy, can’t remember, that was expecting a baby. Ever since then I dedicated this song to my daughter. Even learned it in drums lol “impatiently, as I wait for you”.

My youngest brother is 7 and I remember showing him this song when he was like 2-3 as a baby and he would ALWAYS be like “play horse song please 😃” 😂 this and my kind of woman by Mac Demarco were his favorite.

I always told him “you’re gonna grow up cultured because of songs like these because they’re food for your soul” lol

This is the second time I Shazammed this group....I first heard them do 'talking backwards' and felt like I was back in the 1960's & 70's when I grew up. Cool & mellow sounds that take me back to the better days...and these guys motivate me to get my Fender Strat out of the corner and start playing all over again...today that I turned guys for the inspiration!
