--------
In this clip, UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal shared his thoughts on YouTuber Jake Paul's transition into boxing and an upcoming match with legendary boxing icon Mike Tyson. Despite Paul's previous victory against Nate Diaz, Masvidal was not impressed, criticizing both fighters for their lack of seriousness and toughness. When questioned about the anticipated Tyson vs. Paul fight, he expressed uncertainty due to various unknown factors, such as the type of gloves and round durations. Despite recognizing Tyson's past prowess and legacy in the boxing world, Masvidal acknowledged that time has taken a toll on the 57-year-old and that Paul could potentially beat the now "shadow" of Tyson. However, he lamented that the match lacked the thrill of facing Tyson in his prime and concluded that there were simply too many undefined aspects to make an accurate prediction.

This has to be one of the smartest answers given to that question

I love when people make actual sense. It's hard to compare the Mike of these days in a fight. Time changes us all.

Jake Paul shouldn’t even be allowed in the same room as Mike Tyson let alone in the ring just saying

Of course, there are many variables to consider for JP vs MT, however, one thing is certain & that is that Paul will do everything he can to ensure the terms of the contest are stacked in his size, type & size of gloves, number & length of rounds, choice of referee & instructions on where to intervene, etc etc. Mike won't be aggressive like people anticipate, he knows the expectation to perform will be on JP & that JP can't afford to stink the house out...his ego needs media attention. I think Tyson will bait JP to go forward & throw big punches so that he can slip them & counter; that's where JP's lack of experience can be exploited; Tyson has a good variety of punches, he can explode with combinations just based on muscle memory & he knows how to put all of his weight & torque into a punch, also, he is a born fighter, spotting the target through the slightest 58 yrs old, Tyson knows he has to fight smart & be just elusive enough to draw leads & counter. I think JP will become frustrated, bad tempered & stupidly throw too many punches & mike will flatten if mike isn't just happy to play the farce game & collect the money to expose paul for the pissant, cowardly clown that he is.

Power is always the last thing to go. Remember that 😂

People speculating on physical aspects... the age difference, punching power and shit.... that's understandable but nobody speaking on experience... Tyson had more boxing matches than Jake and Paul combined... not to mention he never took a lot of damage so his mind should still be sharp.... he knows how to fight the fighter ...I think unless Jake gets lucky Tyson will win

Jake paul loses either way .. he either beats an old mike tyson, that no one will respect him for, or he gets beat by an old mike tyson . I'm assuming there's some fuckery afoot with the way this is happening.

It's hard not to agree some what, but Jake is still an amature. The last guy he fought was a dead fish & Tommy Fury tho built like a character from the movie 300 (Spartans) fought fish as well. He struggled against that much smaller retired MMA guy like Jake fought mostly. You'll notice Jake hasn't fought any of the old MMA guys in the Octagon, because he wouldn't stand a chance. Folks don't think of Boxing as they do MMA, but it is a Martial Art. You don't lose that unless your outta shape & even then they still have the muscle memory. You lose long term stamina & heal slower. Mike is light years ahead of Amatures like Jake & he's a kO artist with either hand, from every angle. He's an inside relentlessly moving mauler who keeps guys on their heals all the time until they fall. He won't fight outside giving Jake a breath or a chance. I don't think Mike wants to hurt Jake. I think he wants to school him, but since their not stunt men fighting in slow motion & stopping for camera angles Jake could get hurt pretty quickly if he gets cocky or just because his defense is so vulnerable.
