Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but, in all the “Federal Assistance” given from the U.S. government, is that not taxpayer’s dollars?

If so, then every caring-a-rip U.S. taxpayer should demand from these HECO reps better than their garbage dumpster answers provided in their above appearance before the U.S. congress.

Yes, in what I am next to state, I will therein press against the bounds of reality – though not by much …

But were these HECO reps aware that, in this session of their appearance before the U.S. Congress; they would be asked, in some instances, justifiably drilled, on details they were expected to have spent themselves in investigating relative to the actions of HECO and the fires on Maui Island on the 7th and on the 8th of August year 2023?

Had those possibilities even crossed their minds? Their garbage-dumpster answers state otherwise …

our government Representatives failed to ask one main question, why were the electric truck or Trucks blocking one of the evacuation Lanes out? and why were they sent to restore power during a chaotic Firestorm that was burning people alive in their cars up the road? why couldn't they have asked that question? I don't want to wait another six to 12 months to find out! a lot of the time during that hearing was spent on bipartisan bickering about the government shutdown and how federal aid might stop for, the Maui people! but this was not the point of this hearing!
