Note: Tails not only stated before he didn't like chilli dogs, but was also processing the mental scars like sonic, so tails not only told sonic how much he respects him but also asked if he wanted to go get chilli dogs for the sake of sonic and not himself, this smol fox cared enough about sonic and is just too good.

I love the fact here, Sonic GENUINELY cared for Tails and was trying desperately for Amy to stop, it was sweet of him, and Tails appreciating him for being an older brother just makes these characters seem more human (or well in this case, Humanoid Animal)… than what we got for the meta era games, let’s hope Frontiers ALSO adds character to these guys aswell

I like how instead of taking a malicious turn and it being revealed Tails feels he has superiority over Sonic due to his high intellect; he actually respects Sonic for allowing him to experience the childhood he never got to have. Wholesome stuff.
