UNBOXING the Sidekick® Starter Kit - Sizzix

Small but powerful! The Sizzix® Sidekick® Machine is exactly what you’ve have been looking for—a portable, affordable and adorable crafting system designed for die-cutting detailed (plastic backed or wafer-thin) dies and embossing folders up to 2 1/2" wide. The Sidekick will cut a single sheet of lightweight-to-cardstock paper, and is ideal for scrapbooking, cardmaking, home décor and party, event and wedding planning.

Included with the Sidekick are a pair of Aqua Cutting Pads which makes all Sizzix chemically etched wafer-thin dies up to 2 1/2" wide (Framelits®, Thinlits® and Triplits®) compatible with the Sidekick and even works with other brands' dies! When the included Embossing Pad is used with one Aqua Cutting Pad, the Sidekick can emboss with embossing folders (Textured Impressions® and Texture Trades™) up to 2 1/2" wide.

Please note: Small and Medium Sizzlits® as well as Sizzlits Decorative Strips can also be used with the Sidekick when die-cutting (the compatible clear Cutting Pads are sold separately).

Helpful for crafting on the go, this portable roller machine has a special vacuum seal that holds it securely into place onto any smooth work surface. This small roller machine weighs 2 pounds, stands 4 3/4" tall.

I was given this system a few days ago. I’m having a nightmare trying to purchase other dies for it. The website really isn’t beginner friendly, you have to load each product page and scroll down through the text to see what system you have to use with that particular die set.

The filter feature is either glitching or crap. When I selected the side kick machine the only compatible product your website gave was some glue product.

I can’t find any embossing folders I can use with machine either on your website or elsewhere. Do they even exist?

I love the machine and was really looking forward to purchasing some more stuff but it looks like most of your products aren’t compatible and as i have no idea about card crafts I don’t know what works with what and the few hours I’ve spent looking and reading suggests you can’t just use any die.
