Horizon swimming in the sun
we’re scanning ramparts of our hometown
it’s more like dancing on the railings though
just when it all goes down

Nobody’s crying no one’s overwhelmed
It’s seems like just another recall
who never tried who never really cared
don’t make a fuss ‘bout losing all

They´re coming through the trees
waiting for the fireworks
It’s the times like these
we’re getting nearer to everything there is
the shiny things and fireworks
Is that what draws them here?

Horizon swimming in the sun
These ruins have such a lovely background
You can search the place for years and years
There’s always something nice to find

Everyone knows what happened here
The guys have lost their focus, no less
For all those coming after them
They were only making progress

The world trembles underneath
We can’t do the tiniest thing right now
Sit back, relax and breathe
Or sip some wine if your throat is dry

Hear me, if you please
‘cause I think maybe Oswald’s right
It’s just a circle, that’s all it is
and it makes me calm, yeah, it calms me down
