KAREN kicks Blind man & Dog off Plane

All 35 passengers on US Airways Flight 4384 left the plane after a dispute between Albert Rizzi, a blind man from Long Island and his guide dog, Doxy, and a flight attendant. Rizzi says that, although he and Doxy arrived first for the flight from Philadelphia to MacArthur Airport, they were seated last on the small plane. A flight attendant asked Rizzi to have Doxy lie under the seat of the woman next to him for safety reasons. However, Doxy kept getting up from under the seat, leading to a disagreement between Rizzi and the flight attendant. As a result, the plane returned to the gate, Rizzi and Doxy were removed, and the passengers refused to fly without Rizzi. The flight was ultimately cancelled.

I was a flight attendant for 42 years. This FA was completely WRONG. The dog is a service animal. She needs a new career or to go back to basic training. It makes me angry she did this.

Omg that flight attendant was an idiot. That dog was just making itself comfortable. She jumped the gun. Those people were remarkable for standing up for him and his service dog!

I’m ex cabin crew. Passengers with guide dogs were priority passengers and both were treated with the utmost care and respect. Her behaviour is unforgivable.
