After years of using the old school stonfo connectors, I've finally made the change to a Dacron connector. Is it any better or is it hype?

The Dacron connecter bends down also before you make contact, the only one that doesn't is the spider! So for me this is cobblers! So then how do we catch on the waggler with yards and yards of line in front of us? There's an old saying (if the driver hasn't got his hands on the steering wheel You could also argue that maybe the stonfo was a bit too quick eh! And of course there's whip fishing with a long length of line? My friend it makes no difference what connecter you use, you are the one with the hands on the steering wheel!

I changed to dacron after my stoned came loose playing a big fish and the whole rig came of first time that's ever happened to me

You're not on your own as i only swapped to dacron this last year and along with the new hybrid elastics have made my catch rate got up by a few %. I'm also going to change those to the really short Dacrons that are being sold on Facebook as there only about 1 cm longish.

Make the Dacron even shorter 10mm total length and you will see a bigger difference in amount of bites you hit
