For those who need to hear it, just remember your depression doesn’t mean you’re not worthy

"Oh, sometimes it takes a second."
I like that Thor's mom never doubted his worthiness.

When Thor said "I missed you mom", she immediately realized what that meant for her.

Comedic relief aside, this is easily one of the most emotional scenes in the whole MCU.

Getting the chance to talk to my mother one more time would be the greatest gift I could dream of, this scene it's simply heart melting

A 1, 500 year old man being comforted by his mother is such a sweet fucking thing. I guess you’re really never too old.

As much as everyone was lifted up by him saying "Im still worthy, " it mustve broken his mothers heart to hear him say it because she knows he mustve gone through such tremendous pain, loss and failure to feel this way.

How quickly he breaks down and goes from
“I didn’t say I was from the future.”
To “I’m totally from the future.”
It’s the kinda reaction I could only get from talking to my mom. . She always sees right through my bullshit.

“You’re here to fix your future, not mine” stung the most. Frigga knows that judging by her son’s appearance and his emotions when he sees her, he is from a future she isn’t apart of. She doesn’t say “how is your Father? How is your brother?” No, she says “the future hasn’t been kind to you” & “ I see with more than eyes”. She already knows she’s dead, along with Odin & Loki in the future. She tells her son to move on. She doesn’t concern herself with what isn’t meant to change. Some real hero shit right there.

Gotta love how this proves that Thor isn't being insensitive when he calls Rocket "rabbit". Asgardians just really think he's a rabbit

Don't know why some people don't like Endgame. This scene, Cap at Peggy's office, Tony meeting his dad.... It's like the best possible ending of these story arcs ❤️

The actress for Frigga portrays the unconditional love of a mother so well on screen. It’s hard not to see your own mom when I watch it.

Everyone bashed this version of Thor, but with someone who deals with depression, I literally cried in the theaters. It was something I needed at the time, knowing a literal God could be so low too.

3:49 - the way his mom whispers “good bye” back is brilliant

"Yes, Im totally from the future." Chris and the directors nailed this scene. It perfectly portrays a guy who has been through too much and seeing his mom, he absolutely can't hold it anymore and breaks down.

It's cute that despite knowing they really had to go. Rocket gave Thor time to say goodbye and hug his mom one last time.

No matter what he says, “a mother knows best” will always prevail. Lost my mom 2005, seeing this scene in theatres made me cry.
