Fascinating time to live through! Cascading tipping points, planetary boundaries, ecological overshoot, 25 of 35 earth vital signs at record (bad) levels, non linear feedbacks. Great time for the UK to cut red tape, instill a growth mindset in the regulators and pump £20bn into an unproven (and IMHO, fantasy) CCSU technology. Nice video.

It's not a matter of "if" anymore, but a matter of "when". I would seriously avoid making long-term plans in Northern Europe. I seriously doubt we have even as much time as the worse-case estimates. Every single indicator looks to be *accelerating* in the wrong direction. I believe we've crossed the inflection point. The temperature jumps in 2023 without any appreciable difference back down in 2024 was our final notice. That culminates years of slow build-up that itself had been accelerating.

It's hard to imagine the variety & scale of impacts on the whole planet
the AMOC issue is bringing us all! I think it's fair to say the vast
majority of those on this planet still have little to no clue what could be
coming....is coming. Must admit, I'm at the selfish point now (75yo) where

Some climate scientists assert that we are already past 2C heating above base line 1750! So all these predictions will happen much earlier than expected?

Although that was the original baseline and it was changed to 1850. I think it’s about 0.3C or so. I enjoy your videos as your title says ‘count everything’ is much better than compartmentalism of a lot of scientists and thereby missing important related data

Thing is greenhouse effect has been known since early 1970's, I did a topic on the subject at school around early 1974/5, nothing has changed then, as it's business as usual, sadly it always will be as long as population increases at an almost exponential rate⚠
