On 20 July at 9 PM more than 150 young musicians between 10 and 18 from 15 European countries will play at the stunning Cantiere Rossini in Pesaro as part of SEYO - Sistema Europe Youth Orchestra.
Performing works by Smetana, Sibelius, Rossini, Mahler and many others, the orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Roberto Abbado alongside with Charlotte Politi, Kyriaki Kountouri, Etienne Abelin, Ron Davis Alvarez and Juan Carlos Maggiorani.
The choirs and the Manos Blancas will be lead by respectively by Marcella Polidori and Naybeth Garcia.
Also on stage as a special guest the mezzo-soprano Aya Wakizono, who will sing one of the five Lieder for voice and orchestra composed by Gustav Mahler and Seeds of Hope, written by SEYO 2024 ambassador, Joyce DiDonato.

During their stay, the young members of SEYO enjoy rehearsals conducted by leading professionals in the sector and will commit to promote sustainability and love for our planet through the orchestral experience.
The concert will culminate the orchestra's seventh summer residency, which runs from 13 to 21 July in Pesaro - the latter Italian Capital of Culture 2024 - hosted by Liberamusica.
