I love post processing photos and enhancing the final image. Artists always interpret what they see and convey their vision to the viewer. I’ve taken meh photos and made them amazing. I use Luminar Neo and a new program called Radiant Photo, an offshoot of Perfectly Clear.

The magic light is a gimmick that qualifies as a filter, but not as an extension. This tells me that skylum won't develop Neo significantly further.

I love post processing... definitely NOT in the camp "real photographers dont retouch". But there is something about Luminar that I dont like when it comes to the results. It somehow looks overcooked or in places like an instagram filter overall... yet I cannot point to a specific issue or point out where it is most clearly visable... hmm... anyways I guess it s not my taste. (or youtube algo does something to it. Have not actually used it since Version 1.x)

And specifically about the magic light.... the stars look obviously artificial to me... though I wouldn't mind seeing what it does on a sunset image...

Je reste avec LIGHTROM et PHOTOSHOP, je n'ai pas envie d'un logiciel qui décide à ma place. Amitiés du pays basque.
