As promised I wanted to keep the focus on Heart Health this month and bring you some more tips, tricks and daily habits you can follow to Improve your Heart health and today Ive got 6 more for you!

When people think of heart health what's the first thing that comes to mind? Cardio right?

Sure the word Cardio is derived from the Greek word (Καρδια Cardia =Heart). But it's the furthest from the first and one thing that one can do to improve heart health.

According to old mighty "Google" the definition of Good Heart Health is:

"Heart-healthy living involves understanding your risk, making choices, and taking steps to reduce your chances of getting heart disease, including coronary heart disease, the most common type."

Yet why do so many of us not practice regular activities, rituals, aspects of our lives to improve or at min maintain and prevent further breakdown of our Hearts.

The heart of an embryo starts to beat from around 5–6 weeks of pregnancy
By the 8th week of pregnancy the valves between the atria and ventricles of the heart form
By the 9th week of a pregnancy the aorta and pulmonary vein form
By the 10th week, the fetal heart will have developed fully.
Isn't that crazy? Yes I know , thats why I love the human anatomy so much and was fascinated by mans most intricate machine when I was a kid. Yet only a percentage of the population, even you reading this will actually exercise in their lifetime or do 1 or any of the following 6 things I talk about.
