We went to see this movie when it first came out. I always loved grandma’s metaphor. My kids were very young at the time. Now they’re 41 & 39 and the roller coaster keeps on going.

I have 4 children. But the last one was unexpected for me. I thought my wife and I were done with having kids. She told me and I lost it. She was so happy tho. So happy. Eventually I came around and I cried so hard when my daughter was born. So hard. I know those moments when everything is so overwhelming. But sometimes it’s the woman that you’re with that helps you see the other side. I don’t deserve my wife at all. I’m a lucky guy.

4:47 Steve Martin realizes mess of the play can be “messy life” but the Rollercoaster ride makes all difference. Even parents there still don’t get it (“he’s ruining it”). Don’t skip the Rollercoaster make sure you get on it.

What a great film that not enough people have seen.
