DIY arduino based Multi wire cutting machine | Arduino project

Hello friends in this video I have made a Multiple wire cutter machine using arduino.
There are 4 different colors of wires which feed to cutter via a single motor,
for feeding different color feeder motor drive by a stepper motor and shaft mounted gear get of feeder motor engage with the opposite gear to feed respective color of wire.

I have related idea for beginner project in computer vision . I do not need high precision, so I'd like to show needed length of wire as distance between index finger an thumb and maybe use few other hand gestures to control wire or tape dispenser.

And that is so much easier than just wrapping wire in a loop and then cutting it.

Instead of cutting wire you could cut filament then send it down a feeder tube to get multicolored prints.

Nice project. If you are measuring via rotations of the DC motor and gears, how do you adjust so the wire length remains constant irregardless of the wire coming from the outside portion of the spool or the inside since the wire travels off the spool less as the spool empties?

Hello. I want to do something similar but only one product. Measure - cut - rewind. This for continuous use of a plastic tape about 3cm wide and the size to rewind in meters is adjustable. Could you help and give me the price of your help? Thank you
