Windows® Vista: Disable Automatic Sleep

If you are looking to prevent your Windows® Vista-based PC from going to Sleep Mode automatically, you can follow the steps demonstrated here. Take note, Sleep Mode helps in reducing the power consumption as it switches off the computer when not in use, or left idle for a few minutes. Now, going in to Sleep Mode does not mean that the files and applications opened will close; instead they shall remain as they were. However, if at any point in time you wish to disable the Sleep Mode, you can do so without any hassles.
