HOW TO MOUNT TOLUMNIA ORCHIDS: One of my Favorite Orchid | Quick and Easy Guide

Tolumnia orchid also called as Equitant Oncidiums, were segregated from the mega-genus Oncidium by Guido Braem in 1986. They are small, usually epiphytic, with small or absent pseudobulbs completely covered by leaves, which are triangular or circular in cross section and overlap each other at base to resemble a fan. The inflorescences arise between the leaf base and bear colorful, showy flowers. The size and the number of colors of the flowers directly depends on the type of the orchid and on the general conditions of the plant's maintenance, the color can be from light to dark-violet, most often spotted. They are good potted and mounted. When tolumnia are mounted be sure to water them daily (don't allow them to dry out) . On this video I will show you the steps on how to mount tolumnia.
