Another in our Small Town Ontario series. St. Mary's, Ontario is a picturesque town on the Thames River, between London and Stratford. Established in 1844 and incorporated as a town in 1864, there are currently over 7,000 residents.

Known as 'The Stone Town', St. Marys is located in Perth County. Limestone quarries and cement production are the main business. The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame is located in town.

The town hall is prominent in the downtown. This building, adjacent to the Tim Horton's turnaround spot in the video, was completed in 1891.

I stayed at a friends house in this beautiful town in the early 90s a couple of times from the UK, I remember a bar there called the creamery.

I live in St. Marys. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The last of the corn has been harvested.
