First Impressions of Kochi, Kerala 🌴

Our first time in Kochi was an unforgettable experience, blending rich history, interesting culture, and delicious food. We were immediately captivated by the iconic Chinese fishing nets and instantly fell in love with Kerala as we strolled along the Arabian Sea.

We explored several key spots, including the stunning Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Kerala Cafe, the historic Dutch Cemetery, and the Kerala Folklore Museum.

The blend of culture, food, and history made Kochi a truly special destination for us and we can't waist to see more of Kerala.

The fact is Christianity came to Kerala through Jesus's Apostle St.Thomas and not by the Westerners.
St. Thomas came to Kerala 2000 years ago and converted the people to Christianity and established 7 Churches in Kerala. Kerala Christians are called Nasranis and is one of the oldest Christians in the world.
Enjoy your trip in Kerala.
With Love❤

Christianity came to Kerala about 2000 years ago, before any of the Europeans ever baptized.

Actually Christianity arrived in Kerala 2000 years ago..
Islam also came to kerala through trade in the 1100s itself.
I heard you guys mentioned that Christianity was introduced to Kochi through Europeans and I'm just pointing out this to correct you on a small factual error..😁Hope you had a great time here in Kerala❤️

One of my favorite Canadian songs is Xanadu by Rush and one of my favorite songs from Kerala is Navarasam by Thaikkudam Bridge.

7:42 hi Raychel, i will answer that question. So, there is a limit on the number of passengers in each water metro. Imagine the limit is 100, and it has already reached 99. When you both try to enter, since you are a couple, the total would become 101. That’s why they allowed the single person instead—because that made it exactly 100. Please don’t see this as any form of discrimination against foreigners.

State with the highest literacy rate in India and South Asia, highest HDI in India, Lowest poverty, 1st in ease of doing business, high GDP per capita, clean, safe and much more. Another thing to mention about kerala is the communal harmony, all religions coexist peacefully which you can't see anywhere in india other than kerala. Simply the best place not just in India but the entire south Asia!

Whoo hoo! You were in my hometown. Nice. I live near the High Court where you got off from the Water Metro. Can't wait for the rest of the videos.

Colonisers didn't bring church or Christianity to India, but by Thomas, the disciple of Jesus himself. By the way, it is nice to go to tourist locations. But instead of going to touristy area, I would say you should take local transport buses or KSRTC buses and go to local place, and local restaurants too. That is enjoyable and will save a lot of money. All over the Kerala is beautiful
